Subject: Mysterious transforming toy

I must say that you have a very impressive collection here! Many of them I recognised right off the bat- the Valkyries/Super Valkyries, Invid vehicles, Glaugs, the Thunder Megazord, and a few Faibird. And
you have so many of the same kinds too! I, too, have been collecting toy transformers over the years. Mostly, they've been the Power Ranger Zords.

One of the toys I have matches on of yours, but I got it at a dollar-only store. Following the layout of your site, it appaears in the fourth image down- behind all of the Voltrons, in the middle on the image. It can change into either a large robot (shown) or fifteen smaller vehicles, or four combined vehicles into three larger ones. I know nothing about this robot, not even its name!

Do you know from what series it comes from? What it's really called?

Well, James, I don't understand why you're so mystified. The pictures are all labelled in The Mighty Toy Shelf section of Masterforce.org. Like it says in the caption beneath the picture, the robot you are talking about is Dairugger XV, or Voltron I to Americans. He is also known in many fan circles as Vehicle Voltron, because he's the Voltron made out of vehicles, and not lions.
